Where to Install

A TraqFreq in a smaller than 0-size guitar
Instructions
- For optimum play detection, mount the TraqFreq securely on the surface with the supplied adhesive tape.
- The ideal transmission range can be obtained by mounting the TraqFreq with the logo facing away from the instrument (see photograph below), as this is where the antenna is housed.

Brass

Inside the body, or behind the headstock.
Strings

Acoustic Guitar
Inside the body, or behind the headstock. -
Banjo
On the external rim or internally on the pot. -
Bass Guitar
Behind the headstock. -
Electric Guitar
Behind the headstock. -
Cello
Under the fingerboard or bridge or in a more accessible area. -
Double Bass
Under the fingerboard or bridge or in a more accessible area. -
Harp
Wherever preferred -
Mandolin
Inside the body or behind the headstock, or anywhere on the body. -
Piano
Under the keyboard or on the metal frame or on the soundboard. When travelling to play another piano, place freely without the tape, near the keyboard or soundboard with the logo facing upwards. -
Violins & Violas
Mount on a bracket directly. These optional brackets will soon be available for purchase in our store.
Woodwinds

All Woodwinds
The instrument needs to be large enough to house the TraqFreq - for example, the clarinet and oboe. For these types of woodwinds, mount where space allows.
